Entry-level group bootcamp for your mind, body, and soul.
Join us Thursday nights at 5:00 PM for a fun, beginner-friendly fitness class hosted at Riverside Church
(415 W 53rd St, Davenport). Whether you’re just getting started or getting back on track, you’ll find coaching, community, and encouragement—not intimidation.
First 3 classes free for everyone.
What Is the Riverside Community Fitness Class?
This is a low-impact, entry-level group workout led by certified trainers and coaches from Sozo Fitness and Fruitful Fitness.
Our goal is simple: help our city get healthier—physically, mentally, and spiritually—in a safe, welcoming environment.
In each 50-minute session you’ll get:

A full-body, band-based workout that’s easy to modify

Instruction on proper form so you feel confident and safe

A quick “Fit Fact” to help you make better daily choices

Encouragement from people who are pursuing health right alongside you
All fitness levels are welcome. If you can show up, we’ll help you move.
How Much Does It Cost?

FREE for anyone who attends Riverside for worship.

First 3 classes are FREE for all guests.

After your first 3 classes, if you’re not yet attending Riverside, it’s just $10 per class as a drop-in.

There’s always a pathway to stay free if you become part of the Riverside family.

What Should I Bring?

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be in shape to come?
No. This class is designed for beginners and people getting back into movement. We offer plenty of modifications so you can go at your own pace.
Do I have to be a Christian or attend Riverside?
No. Anyone is welcome. If you already attend Riverside, the class remains free. If you don’t, your first 3 classes are free, and you can continue with a low drop-in fee or by checking out a Sunday service.
Is there child care?
Not at this time. Older kids/teens who are able to participate safely are welcome to join the class with a parent.
Who leads the class?
Certified trainers and coaches from Sozo Fitness and Fruitful Fitness, in partnership with Riverside Church.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. We’ll have a simple participation waiver for you to sign at your first visit.
