Riverside Church is a Spirit-led, presence-centered Christian church in the Quad Cities devoted to one thing above all else:
Jesus is the main event. He is the focal point of our worship, our teaching, and our gathering.
We are a presence-formed family raising mature believers for Kingdom expansion and multiplication — equipping disciples who carry the life of Jesus into every sphere of influence.

Riverside Church is a presence-centered, Spirit-filled family committed to seeing the Kingdom of God established on earth as it is in Heaven. We carry a heart for interdenominational unity and worldwide evangelism, laboring to see Jesus revealed, His Church unified, and cities transformed by His power. Every decision we make is intentional, rooted in devotion to Christ and obedience to His mission.

We believe the Church is meant to be alive with the Holy Spirit, grounded in Scripture, and formed in intimacy with God.
Our rhythm is simple: Encounter, Transform, Reveal.
Encounter
We encounter God through worship, prayer, and the living Word of Scripture. His presence is not symbolic to us — it is real, active, and transformative. We gather with expectation, believing that when Jesus is lifted high, He reveals Himself. In His presence, hearts awaken, burdens lift, and lives begin to change.
Transform
Transformation is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit forming Christ within us. As we behold Jesus, we are shaped into His character through obedience, repentance, devotion, and community. God aligns our motives, refines our hearts, and strengthens our faith so that our lives reflect His holiness and love. We are not content with inspiration alone; we pursue maturity and Christlikeness.
Reveal
We reveal Jesus through lives marked by love, unity, courage, creativity, and spiritual authority. The Church is meant to be a visible expression of Heaven on earth. As we walk in intimacy with Christ, His nature becomes evident in our homes, workplaces, and city. Our lives become a testimony that Jesus is alive and His Kingdom is advancing.

We gather to minister to the heart of God and to be shaped by His presence. We value sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and make space for prayer, prophecy, healing, and spiritual gifts to operate in biblical order.
We embrace apostolic leadership, prophetic voice, sound teaching, pastoral care, and evangelistic fire so that every believer is equipped to grow into mature Christlikeness.
Our goal is not attendance.
Our goal is transformation.
Sunday Services
Join us each Sunday at 9:30 AM for Spirit-filled worship, authentic fellowship, and a Christ-centered encounter where everyone has a place and Jesus is the focus.
Freedom in the Spirit
We begin every gathering by acknowledging that the Holy Spirit leads the way. While we value order, we hold our structure loosely so there is always room for prayer, prophecy, and spontaneous ministry. Freedom in the Spirit isn’t chaos — it’s the atmosphere where Jesus ministers to His people directly.
Preaching and Teaching
We teach Scripture with clarity and conviction. The Word of God is alive and active, forming us into disciples who hear His voice and walk in obedience. Preaching at Riverside is Spirit-led and Christ-centered — rooted deeply in Scripture and alive with the prophetic word for today. Every sermon is an invitation to encounter Jesus and be equipped to live out faith with courage, hope, and love.
Fellowship
Doors open at 8:45 for fellowship and coffee. Church is more than a gathering — it’s family. Over coffee and conversation, we build relationships that carry far beyond Sunday morning. Fellowship is where strangers become friends, and friends become brothers and sisters in Christ.
Prayer & Worship
9:30 we flow right into prayer, accompanied by open, spontaneous worship. This allows people to receive ministry immediately, rather than waiting until the end of service. Worship then rises from these moments of prayer, creating a prophetic, Spirit-filled environment where Jesus is exalted.
Children and Next Gen
We believe kids and teens are not just the church of tomorrow — they are the church right now. Our Next Gen ministry uses Wonder Ink curriculum to disciple children in safe, Spirit-filled environments designed for their age and stage. From littles in the nursery through grade school students in the cafeteria, every child is seen as a carrier of God’s presence, equipped to know Him, love His Word, and walk boldly in their faith.
Our teens stay in the main service for the first weeks of the month to experience worship as part of the whole church, then gather for teen ministry twice a month on Sundays for focused discipleship and connection. In addition, they come together for a monthly youth hangout that builds community and friendships beyond Sunday morning.

Riverside Church was formed through the merging of congregational streams into one unified family. We live with a commitment to visible unity, partnership, and honor within the wider Body of Christ in the Quad Cities and beyond.
